About Us

Bernice and I live in southern Indiana and our favorite thing to do is ride our atv's. When we go on a vacation it is to some place to ride. We have been doing this for several years and have no plans to stop in the near future. We love to travel to different parts of the country but our number one destination is Evarts Kentucky to ride with the Harlan County Ridge Runners. As you are probably aware, you have to have a means to find riding trails and the Internet is about the only option. I have been on various web sites, and belonged to atv clubs, and  I decided I should host my own site and share our experiences with others as well as provide a forum for everyone to get together and discuss riding, or anything for that matter. Forums are a great way to get to know people who love the same things that you love, like riding.

Under “Cutters Chronicles" you will find reports on trails and areas we have visited. Just keep in mind that what your reading is our views of our experiences on a given trail or system. You will also be able to read “Bern's View” which will provide a ladies perspective of our sport and the areas we have visited. She will provide her thoughts on the family aspect of our sport, as well as her down to earth feelings about atv's and the experiences they offer.

I have often been asked about my user name, “cutter”. I came by it quite by accident. I really couldn't think of a user name for the various forums I logged onto, and was talking to some friends one day about the subject. We live in the Stone Belt of the United States. Limestone has been a industry in our area for decades. The stone from the Pentagon, Empire State Building as well as many other landmarks came from our area. The people who worked in these mills came to be called “cutters” as in stone cutters. The movie “Cutters” was filmed in our home town. My friends said ”you cut grass, why not use cutter”. I do own a mowing business and do cut grass, so “Cutter” it was.

Our interests are, Church, Family, Friends, and exploring on our ATV's.  We hope you enjoy your experiences on our site and by all means, tell others about us.

Thank You Dexter & Bernice Luck
