Now that these two have combind, does a membership to either one get you a membership to both or is that still seperate? If it is still seperate is there any plans to combind the two? I joined ABATE earlier this year and would also like to be a member of DIRT but wasn't sure exactly what was going on with this and wanted to ask first.

Great question but I don't know the answer.

If you are a member of ABATE then you are covered and don't need a DIRT membership. That was the info I got from Gary Williams of ABATE.

On the current membership applications there is a place to check all that apply for motorcycle, dirt bike and/or atv. It is just to help with numbers if you are an Abate member you are also Dirt whether you want to be or not. Glad you joined though.

Are there benefits to having a logon to the DIRT site? I see there is a spot for user name and password but wasn't sure about how to go about getting this set up. If I'm already member do I need to send in the form anyway to get this going?

That forum registry has been turned off for almost a year due to spamers. If you look at it nothing new has been added for a long time, not sure if it is going to be reactivated or shut down at this time.

I have toyed around with joining dirt and also with joining ABATE. Now that the two have combined I think I will go ahead and join. Some of my friends at work are ABATE region 4 members and told me they will bring me an application in to work with them. I think they told me $35 for a single or $55 for a couple for dues.

You can join on-line on ABATE's web site.
