Watch for new ride reports from Indiana riding areas, the U.P. of Michigan, Tennessee and others. Up to date "Indiana Trails Advisory Board" information will also be provided and, I will be asking for input from you to take back to the T.A.B. There will be new product reviews and a new forum, "The Indiana Connection". The new forum will provide visitors the opportunity to connect with Indiana ATV clubs and for clubs to exchange information with each other. Every A.T.V club in the Indiana will be provided a section in the forum in order to share information. It is my hope that by providing this forum all ATV riders in Indiana will be able to access any information they may want or need. By sharing the love of our sport, understanding our responsibilities to practice safe riding habits, and keeping a open line of communication with other enthusiasts, we can accomplish much. I look forward to serving our Indiana ATV organizations and enthusiasts.
"2011 Polaris Sportsman 550 Touring"
Coming soon, A complete report on the new Polaris 550 Touring. Not only will this report include first impressions, it will be an on-going report as the miles pile up. A "REAL" in-depth report.
Is the new 550 Sportsman Touring the best two up?
It is our hope that by providing this web site for atv enthusiasts that we can share in our riding experiences and the experiences of others. To pass along information about our riding adventures at various trail systems and provide valuable tips on the local lodging, restaurants, and trails. You will find by reading our reports that not all trails and systems are created equally. You have probably experienced this same issue. You might travel hundreds of miles just to find that the trails just are not what you thought they would be or, that they are even better. Whatever the case, we hope that this site will give us all better information and knowledge of the hundreds of trails and systems available to us and might be helpful in planning our next atv adventure.
Wherever we decide to ride, we want to be prepared and insure that each trip we make truly is an adventure. To be able to have an experience that we can look back on with fond memories. After all, this is why we ride. To experience the great outdoors and beauty of this wonderful country we call home. I have a saying that really puts my love for our sport in perspective for me, “riding is a passion, not a hobby”. For those not associated with our sport that is somewhat difficult to understand. They often look upon our sport as something that is detrimental to the beauty of our forests and nature in general. Environmental groups tend to oppose most efforts to establish new trail systems and fight those that are already established. It is incumbent on all of us to do our best to help preserve our trails. We can be a great asset to our sport by staying on designated trails and not venturing off, even though it is tempting and by carrying out our trash, and even picking up the trash of others. It really doesn't take much effort to help safeguard the future of our sport. There is one simple thing to remember that will always be helpful, “TREAD LIGHTLY”.
Please log onto our forum and share your experiences, meet others who share the love of our sport, and plan rides or just discuss anything, just remember this is a family oriented site.
